go eat
A flexible system for eating well, on the move.
We partnered with Joseph Joseph to rethink food containers for modern, on-the-go lifestyles. The result is GoEat: a reconfigurable set of lunch containers and cutlery designed to adapt to a variety of meals, reduce bulk, and feel at home in a professional setting.
Joseph Joseph asked us to explore how people in cities eat homemade food while on the move. Through research, we uncovered a common set of needs: flexibility in portioning, the ability to separate foods cleanly, and a desire for containers that feel as thoughtfully designed as the rest of a modern working life.
Lunch routines were anything but routine. People often mixed snacks from home with store-bought items, changed their meals day to day, and needed containers that could keep up: compact when stored, but versatile in use.
GoEat is a collection of modular containers designed with this flexibility in mind. Each piece can shift between expanded and compact modes, thanks to a reversible lid system that separates ingredients during transport and reduces volume after use. From salads to soups to snacks, the containers are built to suit a wide range of meals without requiring a different box for each.
The set also includes a compact stainless-steel cutlery kit, magnetically held together and stored in a soft silicone case, that is clean, secure, and simple to use.
With GoEat, we helped Joseph Joseph bring a new level of functionality and design clarity to the category. The system supports how people really eat – fluidly, flexibly, and on the go.
