One product for every stage of sleep.
We helped BleepBleeps reimagine the baby monitor as a product that supports children’s sleep from baby to big kid. Part monitor, part nightlight, part sleep trainer, Suzy combines calming rituals, app connectivity and tactile controls into one cohesive, evolving design. She grows with your child, so parents don’t have to keep buying new sleep tech.
Suzy Snooze is more than a baby monitor. She’s a sleep tool that adapts as children grow, combining the roles of baby monitor, nightlight, sleep trainer and music player into a single, timeless product. We worked with BleepBleeps to create something that not only performs across different stages of childhood, but also looks at home in a modern interior.
The result is a connected product with intuitive physical interactions. Tap her hat to start a calming audio-visual sleep sequence. Twist to adjust the light. In the morning, her hat lifts to show kids it’s okay to wake up. All functions can be controlled via app, but Suzy works just as well without a phone, which is essential when fumbling around in the dark.
We focused on a subtle character. Suzy doesn’t shout ‘baby product’. Her bold, high-gloss hat glows gently when lit, while a die-cut face gives her just enough personality to connect with kids. The soft felt base is tactile and comforting, while also acting as a speaker grille. Every detail is designed for bedroom life.
We also designed a fully considered physical experience, from custom packaging with a built-in quick start guide, to bespoke cables and chargers.
Suzy was developed in collaboration with a specialist team: sleep scientists from Sleepio, Hirsch & Mann on light behaviours, a world-class DJ for original lullabies, and Wearehive on the app. We prototyped and refined the product before working closely with manufacturers to take it into mass production.
