Map launches new podcast

To celebrate our 10th Birthday, today we are launching ‘Where Next? Conversations with Map Project Office’ a podcast that tackles the big questions facing design and technology today.

Created in partnership with quarterly design journal Disegno, each episode sees an expert panel pull apart a pressing social issue, and discuss where design might be able to make a difference.

The inaugural episode, Is “old” a dirty word in design, explores circularity and the fetishisation of newness in design. Host Oli Stratford is joined by guests Richard Stevens (Map Project Office), Mads Kogsgaard Hansen (Bang & Olufsen), Priya Khanchandani (The Design Museum) and Hella Jongerius (Jongeriuslab GmbH) as they discuss how the industry might adopt a different approach, in which products accrue in value as they age, are built around modular principles, and are designed to be easily repaired and upgraded.

Episodes released monthly on Apple and Spotify.
