Map and Barber Osgerby collaborate on Elizabeth Line train interior

Map has collaborated with founders Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby to design the interiors for London’s new Crossrail rolling stock - part of Europe’s largest-ever infrastructure project.

Tasked to develop a single design solution for all the trains that will run on the Elizabeth Line, Barber Osgerby and Map were awarded the project after a rigorous pitching process.

As an industrial design consultancy that was born out of a furniture design studio, and with a sister studio specialising in interiors and architecture, Barber Osgerby and Map were selected to bring together their diverse design expertise.
