Map Project Office has been at the forefront of shaping how we live through design since 2012. Putting people and their needs at the centre of our work, we cover research, strategy and design.

Built on the vision of an art school, we occupy a shared space with our sister studios Universal Design Studio and Made Thought in London and New York. We have created a space for experimentation, collaborating across studios and with a network of innovators.

Our clients are leaders in their fields and have world-changing ideas. From those directing the agenda on AI, to the next generation of human-machine interfaces and commercial quantum computers that will unlock some of the biggest puzzles facing us today. We provide design-first thinking that helps these brands to change the status quo.

Alongside this sits our understanding of the importance of craft, tactility and making. Having been founded by British designers Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, our work is led by learning through making.

We understand the importance of how we experience the world and the role design has in shaping this.
