We partnered with Dashel to create a slim, pared-back helmet that meets the needs of modern urban cyclists. Handmade in the UK, the helmet combines a carbon fibre shell with multi-impact foam to deliver safety without bulk and style without compromise.
Bike helmets have long been designed with the racetrack in mind, often overlooking the needs of everyday city riders. We partnered with Dashel to change that, creating a helmet that meets strict safety standards while offering a look and feel tailored to urban cycling.
The design process was highly iterative. Dashel’s use of a carbon fibre shell and multi-impact foam liner allowed for a slim, lightweight helmet but also introduced unique engineering challenges to meet international safety standards. We collaborated closely with Dashel and a global testing partner to fine-tune the profile, optimise performance, and perfect the details. Each round of testing informed a new prototype, bringing us step by step closer to the final design.
The result is a distinctive silhouette that feels refined and low-profile. Subtle venting, a clean profile and intentionally minimal branding give it a more considered, wearable look. The carbon fibre shell is handmade in the UK by a family-run workshop with a background in helmet making. Thoughtful, well-executed details like a magnetic clasp, traditional woven harness and a leather carry loop elevate the experience.
